Beginner Kickboxing
Beginner Kickboxing places a heavy emphasis on “K-1″ style kickboxing. Students can expect to be taught a blend of Muay Thai, Karate and Western Boxing techniques in this program based on Dutch-style striking.
The course will focus predominantly on boxing and low kicks with added emphasis on blocking and counter striking with the hands, feet, and shins.
This class is one hour in length and will be an intense workout based on Dutch-flavored Kickboxing drills featuring limited contact through “play kicking” with a student partner.
Students who successfully complete this class can advance to the Fighter Program at the discretion of the instructor.
Class Times – 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday

Equipment Required – gloves, handwraps, shin guards, and mouthpiece
